Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This is a draft. These terms will be finalised before paid plans are available.
1. The service
Kazi PDF is a PDF viewer and annotator that runs in your web browser. It is provided by MediaLab225 ("we", "us"). By using it, you agree to these terms.
2. Your documents
Your documents stay on your device and remain yours. We don't receive, store or claim any rights to them. You are responsible for keeping your own copies and backups, and for saving your work: the app does not keep a copy of your documents.
3. Licence
Kazi PDF is proprietary software. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it. Open-source components are covered by their own licences, listed in the open-source notices.
4. Paid plans
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly, yearly or once, as shown at checkout. You can cancel a subscription at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of a purchase for a full refund. Prices may change; changes never affect a period you've already paid for.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law or to interfere with the website or its hosting.
6. No warranty
We work hard to make Kazi PDF reliable, but it is provided "as is". We can't guarantee it will be free of errors or work with every PDF. Keep a copy of important documents before editing them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
